Maximum viable size of unbroken pane in front of the pilot chair and the rest is to support that, I guess?

Dunno, though. I know the interior set was designed first and then Sternbach fitted the exterior design to the cockpit after it was made, so I guess it came from the set designers.

The best Greatest Gen episode is where they reviewed The Visitor, and it was just them making terrible Bill Cosby jokes and convincing themselves they were going to lose all of their listeners over it.

Imagine opening TNG Season 2 with that instead of with the episode where Deanna Troi gets to give birth to an energy being child

Just watched this episode now. The Energy Child wanted to learn stuff, did for like 2 days, then left. That was the entire episode. I don't think there was a point or that anyone learned anything in the end. They spent more time explaining how this virus containment system worked than on the energy child.

Worf and some security team people were there for the birth. Worf vs a Baby would have been a good fight.

Also, Picard has never hung out with puppies? What the gently caress Jean Luc.

All that hair is as wild and different and varied as federation starships. Basically all the same.

The costumes do get confusing sometimes, mainly because of the whole screwy color thing. It was a bit of an odd decision to have a different dress uniform to the service uniform, but it's weirder when they did it in later series and the dress uniform was almost exactly the same as the service uniform. Also the impossibly expensive but totally unimpressive and drab grey jumpsuits.

I think my favorite trek uniforms are the Wrath of Khan engineer outfits.

Just occurred to me that they never had TWOK era dress uniforms, did they. Must be because the uniforms were already so awesome. :smug:

Probably not any more noticeable for people on the bottom floor of a building than the 30th floor of a building. Although does gravity pull people down or just toward the floor? Because if the latter, can you lie down on the ceiling where the gravity of the floor above you would pull you toward?

In the episode where her memory of an encounter with Riker turns non consensual while alien villain of the week enters her dream, it is not entirely clear whether the alien is causing that memory to change or just forcing her to relive a real memory.

They either split up or he died or something.

I choose to believe that it turns out she had some sort of kink that made her into the holo-Brahms after she thought about it for a while.

Also, no way Lefler was actually into Wesley. She was stringing him along.
