Videooooooo OK, that thing owns and as someone currently living without a car I have an urge to buy one immediately. I'm surprised by the power though, how much do you have to skimp to make it perform like a Power Wheels? I used to drive golf carts a lot and even the lovely ones have some decent zip up to 20mph or whatever. I guess it has similar batteries but just weighs a lot more.

Yes, please. I fully support the movement for retrofit EV drivetrains. Really, the biggest issue is arranging the batteries, aside from the cost, currently (no pun intended.) At some point, I will probably have an EV first-gen RX-7. Lord knows I have plenty of chassis with popped rotaries.

I was wondering if he'd hit the brakes hard if it would flip over, maybe he tried that before the start of the video. Hitting the wall like that on purpose would've been a good idea if he hadn't gotten stuck.

I don't see a location for dampers. Is it just going to bounce down the road? Also missed chance to relocate the sway bar into the assembly as well.

Those things can take some abuse. My only complaint is how much of the bed capacity the links eat up. Using the LS400 firewall and floorpan is genius. um excuse me posted:I don't see a location for dampers. Is it just going to bounce down the road? I recently read Carroll Smith's about fasteners and plumbing for race cars and his opinion on bolts in single shear was along the lines of "Don't put bolts in single shear. If you must, don't do it." Then he showed the many different ways to change mounts to make them double shear instead of single shear.
