That's like "one Porsche" money for your complete racing series. The only downside is that you can't drive 13 of them at once.

I think lots of older conversion vans had captain's seat options like that too, my family had one like 20+ years ago where the front passenger seat could turn 90 degrees right & face the door. Also had a double bench seat in the back that folded down into a bed that was roughly full size, which was great when we'd take road trips.

Uber said 20 euros and 25 minutes to get the the train station in Rome. We got a cab and the lovely lady in her manual Fiat has us there in 10 minutes and under 10 Euros. 2. Staying the the hills high above Sorrento and having my morning coffee while hearing someone absolutely flogging a tuned car up the mountain road. There was a house we passed on the way there that had a couple of rally prepped 90's hatchbacks out the front so I can only imagine it was them.

Why don’t they use a helicopter for urgent organ transfers? I mean I get that it’s all PR. But seems weird

That said, a family friend of ours flys for ADAC and says he never has a problem either getting airspace cleared or working around restrictions. It's a flying ambulance, but still.

But seems weird Helipads on italian hospitals are scarce, only on the biggest metropolitan sites. Even then noise and traffic means that hypotetically the lambo, hauling rear end on a highway giving zero fucks about speed limits, would be able to cover more patients rather than having to airlift the organs and/or the patient to an helipad equipped hospital.

In addition to all the nuisances and expenses of flying like air clearance and pre-flight checks, helicopters aren't actually that fast. Supercars are clearly the way of the future.

Correct, the North American passenger kilometres per capita is insanely high. That isn't really a good thing (environmentally speaking).
