Hey don't get it twisted, if this election was close the supreme court would absolutely give it to Trump without even really blinking. But I don't think it's close so I don't see them even hearing the case. Doesn't even mean they're "independent", just pragmatic enough to know when they can or can't get away with a bad ruling. They would Bush v Gore II in an absolute heartbeat if this legal dream team tried even a little bit to, say, present evidence. Lucky for us they're more interested in grifting than actually getting a second term
