My original vax was 2 dose pfizer. My booster was moderna at 4 months after second shot. I felt a little worse than my second pfizer. General malaise and joint soreness in my back (my lower back is generally sore anyway, though). BUT, at the time of my booster I had been working 70 hr weeks for 2 weeks, so that could have been a factor. This Tuesday, I get moderna #2. Getting it in part because I can't easily duck out of dose #2. Will trip report then.

Just heard about some schadenfreude from my mum in England. Her best friends granddaughter had refused to get the vaccine, the only one in her family, and now is pretty ill with covid, not in hospital but laid up at home in bed. Also my 'uncle' who they lost contact with for a few months had been in hospital with his bladder cancer, caught an infection and covid, had 2 small strokes, survived all that and convalesced in a nursing home and is now back in his home with home care. He's not great but he's a tough old coot to live through all that in his 80s.

My wife is on an immosupressant for Crohn’s disease and just got her third shot because her job is hellbent on forcing her and everyone else back into the office after Labor Day full time. Gotta take the precautions you can take.
