Texans are funny because their roster is a who's who of guys with like 8 years of experience who make you go, oh yeah, that guy. Like, they have Rex Burkhead, Andre Roberts, Mark Ingram, Brandin Cooks, David Johnson, Justin Britt, Marcus Cannon and Whitney Mercilus.

That said average team age is dumb, because if your QB is 35, then whatever, he'll probably be good for another 5 years, but a 30 year old cornerback or running back might as well be dust.

Yeah, I'd much rather see them do something like take the average age of a starter in a given position over the past 20 years, then take each player on a team's deviation from that, add them up and either average them or give us the total deviation. I feel like that would be much more meaningful.
