Even if I hadn't been primed based on the conversation, a frog giving an OK symbol at that angle is 100% alt-right signalling. Combined with the caption, at least. I guess there's some room to quibble because of the reference photo they basically traced, but still.

It was nice of them to spare us the usual discussion of 'is this an alt right thing or just unfortunate?' by going mask off immediately.

Bill Webb is a drunken sex pest at cons, and accosted at least one woman to the point that someone else who stepped in got injured to some degree. I think the first excuse was a "oh boys will be boys, cons are so rowdy" thing. At one point the way this was dealt with was some of his business partners promising to have someone babysit him when he goes to cons, which was both not good enough and they didn't even follow through on. Since the first couple rounds of wholly inadequate responses, I think they've hunkered down and just ignored the issue.

This is why Steve Jackson has been on the shitlist lately. They co-Kickstarted something with Webb fairly recently, and when everyone went "what the actual gently caress?" Steve's own response was "I like money." SJG as a business has since weakly backed away from Webb, but it's clearly in a "sorry you got mad" way.

WHO is the goodest girl?
So, the pledge manager for Mythic Battles Ragnarok opened up and as someone who missed out on and was interested in Pantheon, I'd love to hear from someone as to whether anything was significantly changed between Ragnarok and Pantheon 1.5. I feel more of a connection to the Greek mythos but was wondering if there were improvements in gameplay in the Norse. I also saw that the creator of MB didn't assist in the development of Ragnarok and am unsure as to whether that's a good thing or bad. Anyone have any thoughts?

Dropping some shots of my recently arrived games

SO happy I backed this.

New art direction is gorgeous, included the original for comparison

Really nice box with delineation built in

Different card widths to differentiate between Avalon and Quest

2 rulebooks + Director's Cut setup for Quest

There isn't a retail release planned for this one, so super glad I've backed it.

Chai Tea for 2 finally updated
Pledge Manager is Sept 14, apparently closes in December - but production is already under way?

Not sure how I feel atm about the almost 100 day delay between updates, but I'm leaning towards not upgrading my $1 pledge as it hasn't given me ~good vibes~
A set of all 12 rolling trays would be nice hand outs for my players though.

Bleh.

Well poo poo. Thankfully I only have one of their books on the shelf, and it doesn’t come off very often. Even less, now.

My Blacklist Miniatures series 1 arrived! I had honestly given up hope of it ever getting here. Such a shame that it’s now a full 20 months since I played d&d in person. Ah well, I guess it’s Christmas presents sorted for the kids I DM for.

I'm finding Australia typically gets fulfilled pretty early a lot of the time. With Steampunk Rally Fusion they had barely put out the Shipping Update and I received it.
Probably something to do with shipping lanes from China.

I just launched The Red Burnoose: Algeria 1857! We really tried to do something different with this one and I believe we succeeded. The game is a deckbuilding cooperative wargame where you take on the role of the colonized instead of the colonizer. Players take on the role of Kabyle villages defending themselves from 3 different invading French armies. We aimed to design it so it would appeal to a broader audience than just wargamers and based on the previews we've had it looks like we achieved that. Check it out, and I am always happy to talk more about it here.

I’ve used these guys in the past. They have a warehouse in Guernsey which lets you duck VAT on anything.

Haven’t shipped anything this big before but I’m guessing probably around 100-150 USD for forwarding and freight. I haven’t been able to get exact weights and dimensions to make a better guess than that.

here in Denmark the stupid shipping is partly 25% VAT, partly a flat rate 25$ 'handling fee' by the national postal service.

I honestly don't mind the VAT but the handling fee makes it impossible to buy small stuff without paying many times the asking price.

I just want a few minis from the UK :(

The floor manager who escorted him out of the convention simply said “I’m just here to walk you out.” and that someone would email him.
