Both sides aren’t that different. Strategic bombers at least until more recently were part of the nuclear triad but generally seen as obsolete. They are there for the purposes of deescalation after both sides blow their load. Obviously, the b-2 exists eventually the b-21 will exist but they are bombers in search of a mission. real question is does the b-21 do anything different that adapts it to the modern battlefield or is it just another doa mic program for failchildren

I think the new gimmick for next gen aircraft is networking and remote flying

Danann posted:real question is does the b-21 do anything different that adapts it to the modern battlefield or is it just another doa mic program for failchildren We don’t have the full info on it so it is hard to say but it for the most part seems a smaller and cheaper b-2. The aim is to replace the entire bomber fleet but it is hard to say what it would bring to the table besides more stealth although at least the b-2 probably has been trackable by both the Russians and the Chinese for a while. Raskolnikov38 posted:I think the new gimmick for next gen aircraft is networking and remote flying Yeah but it doesn’t seem to make much of a different in a strategic bomber besides saving crew. I guess you could argue a even larger fleet of stealth bombers would allow the US to hit more targets but the second the Russians start tracking them, they (at least should) will start sending orders out. Most (all?) boats not made of aluminum for specific design reasons (weight, corrosion resistance, etc) are made from mild steel, which rusts like a bitch Newer primers and paints are better, but condensation + leaks and just exposure to humid salty air causes the stuff to fall apart. There's a reason why most consumer boats are fiberglass - the hull will last two or more re-engining with literally no maintenance On a steel boat there is always some part of the boat that needs paint removed and repainted; in the worst areas they eventually just cut out the bad parts and weld in patches. Constant struggle to keep those things floating and fully functional

Marine grade paints and lubricants are indeed miraculous things considering the hostile environment they operate in but the sea is merciless and unyielding. Want to make a non-slip path at your home or workplace? May I suggest marine paint? Wear breathing protection and stay upwind when applying though, holy poo poo.

Airplanes are interconnected, and the wingtips of a TU-22M3 are rather near to the aft of the aircraft, where we can clearly see that both horizontal stabs were torn up and shorn, as well as the engines and portions of the tail assembly getting hit. I'd be surprised if there wasn't any damage to the wing. interesting selection of tweets to have on hand. kiss face gore MOD EDIT: quoted gore tweets removed Somebody has issued a correction as of 21:01 on Dec 6, 2022 |

I'm the wunderwaffen that lightly damages trucks and jets on impact. I've seen enough Just Rolled In videos on YouTube to know that if the frame isn't at least 90% rust it's still fixable.

Look Russia ran out of missiles 6 months ago, never had any pilots to begin with, Ukraine is about to roll outs its CyberMechWarBattleBots by boston dynamics any day now and take the fight to Moscow where it will be a 2D side scrolling boss battle against MechaPutin like exactly in Mother Russia Bleeds. Surely. My rates are much more competitive than certain other state backed actors if you just want a script to read off. Just saying.
