I really meant to just say capitalism, but considering this is TV IV, not C-SPAM, I didn't want to derail. To be honest, I'd still watch whatever R&M episodes they had already recorded with him. Virtually everything in capitalism supports evil, and as an individual, there's very little I can do to avoid it. But I think going foward, they should just pull the trigger and recast for the future.

I mean when the guy who not only writes the show but also acts like 70% of the characters on a show has to do time in federal prison that's pretty much a wrap for logistical reasons. I don't think weighing money vs PR would be the primary concern unless they have a hollywood prison with a sound booth.

There’s supposedly a plea on the table according to the NBC News article which probably would preclude actual jail time given overcrowding in the state prison system and how well his lawyer negotiates for the plea.
