The market for space sims is certainly there. Especially big budget AAA ones. Star Citizen has made over 500 million dollars in crowd funding, and that is an imaginary game that you cant even actually play.

Anyone pick up Cassette Beasts? I was interested but I'm having a hard time finding info on how symmetrical the coop is exactly. I know only player1 can customize their character cosmetically which isn't that big of a deal. But is player1 also in the driver's seat when it comes to the flow of gameplay? Such as, do they have access to more options or decide when cutscenes are triggered, etc? Where does it land on the scale between 'assist buddy' and '50/50'?

Both players control a character on the overworld, with the same abilities, and both players are able to open/use the menu and stuff. Camera seems to try to follow both players too. In battle, P1 controls the main character, and P2 is their partner, whoever that happens to be at the time. Haven't tried fusions, but given how menus work I would not be surprised if both players have control over fusions at the same time, for better or worse. I think the only snafu is that if there's ever a partnerless segment in the story, P2 will be out of luck, but I don't know if that really happens outside of the opening 5 minutes of the story. I kept getting side tracked by other games, but I finished Yakuza 0. :P It was a 10/10 perfect game. I need a break though from Yakuza before continuing to Y1. Playing all of the series back to back seems like it might be a bad idea.
