I don't own the land my home is on, so I have to keep the land tidy for the house I do own. I feel like a monster destroying these little bee buffet weeds and such. I'm letting what I can grow as big as it can, sometimes if weeds get big enough they look like bushes and that totally works right?

Yeah those are my new bushes, forget about it.

I liked it but I was a dumb dumb kid who somehow hosed up and I remember getting pretty stuck at one point. Also I think there was a tonne of missable stuff and that used to frustrate me so much (what's a guide?????)

iirc wasn't Final Fantasy going to be Sakaguchi's final project or some poo poo and that's why it was named that but then it was a huge success and the dude had to just keep on making games.

Iirc it was 'get a modest hit or we close the studio'

I was listening to a history of computer games last month and it's crazy how RPGs werent really big in Japan before DQ/FF gave them less of a western sensibility.

One day nearer spring
loved ff7. back in college I watched a friend play so I bought a PlayStation and ff7, a whole bunch of weed and alcohol and skipped all my classes for 13 days straight to beat the game. afterwards my roommate did the whole breeding chocobos thing and named them all after his favorite porn stars and I learned things about him that I did not want to know. years later I bought a pc version when I was recovering from a bone marrow transplant and I beat it again while waiting for my immune system to grow back.

and that's my final fantasy story

I waited in line outside EB for them to open on release day so I could get the exclusive XL-only (natch) T-shirt but the UPS guy was late and when he showed up like an hour later he got mobbed by a store full of panicked nerds.

E: yes I got my copy and the T-shirt

They are great imo. One suggestion is to find a font mod that replaces the font with one that is easier to read on larger screens.

Buddy, it gets worse. From what I'm hearing from the FYAD crew, the terms they want for head GBS moderator Seth's release include chain probing nom in perpetuity.

This might be the best offer we get

Have they done anything to reduce the grind-y elements? Or did they just remaster the graphics and leave gameplay untouched? I tried to replay some old FF games a few years ago, but bounced off when I realized I was going to have to spend like 4 hours fighting goblins to afford a new sword.
