Yeah most of the stuff that carries over between games is combat-related and Seasons is the more combat-focused of the two, so it’s a lot more useful to go Ages to Seasons than vice versa.

My Xbox one controller ran out of power last night so I switched to my Switch Pro controller for my Steam Link and tbh I just want to start using it as my main for everything, Nintendo build quality ftw

My pro controller has started to drift but that thing lasted like 5+ years and I miss it already

I did get one of those 8bitdo ultimate controllers though and I like it a lot aside from missing the HD rumble

the 8bitdo controllers are fine but for the price it’s worth it just to get a pro controller.

I prefer the 8bitdo because it never had stick drift issues. Only button rubber breaking issues.

The 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth is pretty cool. Same price as a pro controller and similar layout but it also has back buttons and hall effect sticks that won't ever drift. Can even wake up the Switch from sleep, it's nice. The lack of HD rumble is the only downside.

Sicko confession: I play most games with walkthrough guides. At least for some genres. I just don't find the kind of fumbling overworld exploration and item collection in the 2d zeldas or metroidvanias or modern open world games all that fun. If the gameplay itself can't sustain a game it's not worth playing

I've been doing this for every game I post as beaten for at least 7 years now in Imp Zone. I cultivate a particular persona through game selections and then pay people on Fiverr to send me game footage and reviews.
