source: i got points off during my first driver's test and technically should have failed on attempt #1 because I never looked behind me outside of using the rear-view mirror while performing a parallel parking maneuver on a quiet residential street sometimes you know more than the testers, sometimes you are not looking out for the children enough both are valid
