So clearly us non-gun-havers know nothing. They've got it all figured out.

This video reminds me of a friend of mine who stamped his passport with the North Korean stamp when the guards weren't looking. I still squirm about the levels of "Knowing what could happen, why would you do that?!" except he got away with it and Captain Sensible here blew his cock off.

So, in the gun world "trigger discipline" means keeping your finger out of the trigger guard until you're ready to shoot as a matter of habit, so you default to safe behavior even while acting thoughtlessly. People online will chide randos for posing for a photo with, like, a star wars blaster if their finger is on the trigger. Basically, it's macho one upsmanship channeled into safety culture. There's a certain kind of person that sees this happen and posts pictures of them being unsafe to trigger the pussies who care about safety. "Like my trigger discipline? Imagine feeling the need to carry a gun so people won't ask you to the rodeo.

When you put it that way, having a magical talisman to wear that causes touts to gently caress off and leave you alone does sound kind of nice.

I mean, that is funnier in that the captain not understanding how the safety works. But also I hate the delta safety thing. Cause yes, if everything is working right you can't put it on safe in that condition. But if poo poo isn't working right it might also not go on safe because you've got sand in your safety selector and you've got a round in the chamber. And either way, you're still having to rack the bolt which is the only time consuming part of getting ready to fire in either situation. Also I will fite anyone who says glock's have safeties because if you disengage the safety by pulling the trigger it's not a safety gently caress off.

Anybody who would do this is an idiot though so they end up shooting their dick.
