Probably, but if the season stays true to character, the Dolphins will destroy them and embarrass Lamar, crushing his MVP hopes.

It's on the table. The biggest advantage Baltimore has is their defensive line against this beat-up Dolphins O-line. One of the big questions of the day is if Tua's release speed and the Dolphins short game will be enough to overcome that disadvantage.

This is true. Presumptive MVP has been a bit of a curse this year.

If the Ravens lose to the Dolphins, the Bills are probably locked into the #6 seed. No reason to play starters week 18, compared to the Dolphins who will be playing for a bye. Hard to imagine Buffalo would pull that one out.

If the Ravens lose to the Dolphins they need to play starters week 18 unless the Browns lose to the jets tonight. Otherwise they risk losing the division to the Browns.

They probably won't lose to the dolphins though, so they'll probably rest starters week 18 anyway.

We were dominated by Jacksonville in the first half despite the score. So I definitely don't see Miami being an easy game and I think our offense will struggle more than people think. Especially if Hamilton can't play. And of course a lot will come down to the status of Hill and Waddle

The Ravens and Dolphins would have to play starters. Ravens to win the division and to potentially land the 1 seed. Dolphins to secure the 1 seed. The Bills, would have no reason to play their starters. Even with a win they would be a game behind the Dolphins and the Browns. They couldn't even move from 6 seed to 5 seed. That makes the likelihood of a Bills win week 18 real low. Which makes Miami/Baltimore basically the only important variable for who gets number 1.

Waddle is definitely out this week, which on one hand doesn’t matter since he doesn’t seem to get targeted often, but on the other hand probably helps split attention away from Tyreek

He would lead the Ravens in receiving yards by a lot. He gets targeted enough. But this will allow the Ravens to do what they did in 2021 in KC and take Hill out of the game. Now we have to worry about Achane though because our run D hasn't been great.

That sucks.

I think a lot more people know him from his time in WCW these days, I had no idea he was a good football player (x2 pro bowler, x5 all pro). He was sort of infamous as a member of the Four Horsemen, as Dave Meltzer would go out of his way to make fun of his wrestling ability every chance he could.

Achane hasn't looked that impressive since his first injury, Mostert is the one to worry about if he's healthy. this whole offense is half dead! if Holland can come back and the defense can contain Lamar and cause some turnovers is the only way I see them winning. I expect them to lose and mostly i just don't want anybody else to get majorly banged up

I think it’s really awesome you crunched these numbers! Do they include returned field goal attempts? e.g. when the Cardinals tried to kick a long field goal before halftime and the Jags put Agnew back there to catch it if it was short; he did then returned it for a TD? I think this was the Urban Meyer year?

That SB return by Hester was his 7th TD return in his first 19 games - the Colts never kicked to him again, squibbing it until they saw that the Bears trying to sneak Hester up a level, at which point they kicked it deep.
