The snow was light and fluffy. The winds a sustained 5-10 with 15-20 gusts. In those conditions, the snowblower just blows the snow right back at me, or back onto the driveway, no matter which direction I moved the vent. I almost got frostbite using it once, an entirely frustrating and extremely painful event. I went back to shoveling after that.

But it's got my accurate weight as a starting point, and I really am busting rear end for almost that entire 2.5 hours, with just a few under 30 second breaks. So it's probably not 100% accurate, but I assume it's in the ballpark accurate.

I've got a plow like shovel, a regular shovel, a heavy duty shovel with a metal edge and a curved pole. Finally this small flat shovel for shoveling out my truck.

1200 calories in 2.5 hours is an equivalent rate to about 11k calories per day, which is basically the same as someone ordering one dessert from cheesecake factory seems plausible to me
