At college I'm known as the kid with the weird old car.
It's now in the garage for the winter.

I have to wonder, how is that thing on the Interstate?

2005 Lotus Elise, same picture I've posted before, before any changes.

Edit: It's since had the sport suspension put on, flywheel and clutch changed and new black sport pack wheels.

I drive by a used black Elise for sale every day coming home from work. I lust for it.

I've been trying to get a GR86 for months, finally found one without an insane markup. I had to go to Show Low, a little town about 180 miles from Phoenix. The drive home coming down from the Mogollon Rim was intoxicating. I love this car.

I'm going to the shop on Monday for another check-in on my Hakone. I miss my car so much.

A paint pen, razor, and 6 hours. The pattern is there from the factory, you just have to trace it. Actually most performance tires have a really cool pattern on them, don't know why they're not offered in white.

They only last a couple of weeks so I do it literally once every few years. Ive been looking for sealants to put over the white lettering, but so far everything reacts with the paint, turning it a pale yellow.

I went all out and did the Michelin logos on my tires once. Looked great, but total pain in the dick.
