Judging from this thread, landscape is a rather broad area of photography. Am I right on that assumption?

This last one I'm not so sure what to think. I feel like there was a shot there but just slightly missed it.

Pissed the second one was quite crooked when I shot it and didn't check it. (The sign, not the truck.)

Why did you choose that angle? I'd be more pissed at that.
To emphasize the feeling of falling over that was already present with the truck parked on an angle.

I think my issue, among other issues, is watching Ben Willmore's Lightroom introduction and actually taking his advice about how to process photos when stuff he produces is HDR overload. I took a try again at two of my pictures in which I crushed the blacks. Any better? Also, any suggestions of where I can look for post processing advice?

I'm trying to improve certain aspects of photography. For example, I've lived in the countryside of Panama for the past two years and my ability to capture the green around me in any sort of a decent way failed. I'm trying to search images to see if I can find people who've had success capturing scenes of almost pure green plants. I searched Flickr for various keywords and everything I've seen has been trash. Any suggestions for attempting to find decent photographers/photographs?

Is that an ND filter or a sunglass lens?

ND filter. I just hold it in front of my RX100 and I thought the contrast between adding/removing it was pretty interesting.

Semuc Champey, Guatemala. I was there on a tour from roughly 2pm to 4pm so most of the rest of my photos were crap. You can probably search Flickr and find hundreds of other photos though.

Would you, or anyone else, have any tips on how to shoot lights like this without them turning to complete white? I've tried to recreate shots like this several times with no luck.
