Is the other Vampire game (Redemption? I think) worth playing if I enjoyed Bloodlines?

6 years later and I still haven't found it cheaper than $20. I want to play, but not $20 want to play.

This is literally one of the best games ever made, $20 is nothing for it.

Well, at least those games shared creative talent. The WoD MMO could be cool on its own merits, but CCP's games strengths and Bloodlines' strengths couldn't be more different.

Meanwhile, Brian Mitsoda is working on some low-key indie zombie game.

I realize his resume might not be that appetizing from a surface-level business perspective - Bloodlines and Alpha Protocol - but he could be such a huge asset to a company like Bioware or Bethesda.

I had a dream a few months ago that Bethesda studios acquired Obsidian, Troika, and basically everyone left over from Black Isle.

What is the latest bugfix/best patch for a vanilla playthrough? Still the Wesp patch? I'm OK with restored content if it was in the game files to begin with.

Thanks, I just haven't played in a year or so and wanted to know what the best poo poo was for a new playthrough (but not my first playthrough.)

What are the go-to mods for a new playthrough? I don't want any amateur voice acting or major changes to the game (restored Content is fine.)

It is probably more the developers pitching the idea for these dialog focused games (read: interactive fiction) and the publishers going are you guys on :catdrugs:

One of the reasons I'm looking forward to project Pillars of Eternity is to see if Obsidian's Q+A is really that leaky, or if their trademark bugginess really is a product of the publishers not being on the same page.

Yeah I certainly don't envy the programmers behind open world games. Are there any really actual honest to goodness decent open world games that shipped without bugs?

Is there a decent character building guide for this game? I'm going to play through again and would like to optimize with the best powers/etc and not build around the useless ones.

Just a rough primer of "don't bother with this" or "don't invest more than X points into this" would be fine.

I think Vampire still holds up graphically all these years, although I like forcing AA through my video card, which makes everything look nice enough.

Man this game is still so awesome. And I don't even mind the graphics. It just falls on the right side of the "too-old-to-look-at" 3D graphics aging line.

I forgot how perfectly annoying Knox's voice is.

It actually looks p. good if you force AA/Filtering and use an ENB.

What's an ENB and how do you force it? Also how do I enable the console to fix the FOV? Something with the shortcut properties but I can't remember.

Also, installing this on my C drive, which is an SSD, was the best decision ever. Loading times are nothing.

Start here:

ENB is a post processor filter for a bunch of games. I'd just stick to what is on that page for now though.
