The new Miniature Tigers album is almost out, they are a pretty good indie pop/rock group and you can listen to their new album here:

They seem to be taking somewhat more of an electronic twist to their usual mix of indie pop with some more experimental songs. Anyway check it out, I dug it.
The first two tracks bummed me out because that's not the Mini Tigers I've grown to love at all. But if they wanna explore that route, I'm not going to hold it against them. Thankfully it REALLY picks itself, love it.

I actually saw them this week and it was a really short setlist with the songs I mentioned above and only like 2 songs that weren't new, but it was still enjoyable. Terrific band, so underrated.

very fun live band. Never really listen to them but they've been at a couple festivals I've attended when I had some downtime and they suprised me.

Anyone hear the new Phantogram single? Hopefully a grower. They're here in the UK in November so I'll have to see them again. I do feel if you split up their two albums and standalone EP youd have one incredible LP.
:agreed:
Don't love the new track but it's good enough that I'm still excited for Three. I've seen them live 4 times now and they always kill it and yeah, they have about 10 really amazing tracks spread across their discography.

I freaking love the new Warpaint. Their other records never really hit with me save a couple songs, but this one is pretty awesome all the way through.

I really like the second half of the Haim album. Mainly Walking Away and Right Now.

I mainly love how it's mixed. Not as powerful as their first album but it's pretty nice.

wow Beach House was so good last night. Really nice venue in Portland I’d never been to before.

the opener Sound of Ceres really blew me away too. Such a cool show visually, the fact that it was so dark and no one was using their phone made it even cooler.

the album just came out. Not quite as good as I was hoping but it’s okay.
(edit: I take it back, I’m liking it more after another listen)

Really bothers me the amount of hate she gets for being an “industry plant”, her personality and the way she dresses, etc. There’s a lot worse crap out there. And it’s not like it’s a secret her brother writes and produces the music.

kinda reminds me of this artist I recently discovered who I was shocked didn’t have a lot of followers. She just released her first album and it’s dope as hell but so is her first EP. Psychedelic pop-rock? A lot of genres going on.
