Okay, that is hilarious. I mean, it's probably relates to the content for the movie (I haven't watch it), but a poster of happy smiling cartoon forest critters is hilarious when you know what the movie is infamous for.

I also think humans never went to Mars in the new movie because they spend all their money building an elevator that goes through the Earth.

No sports team tie-in in my country. Just Domino's Pizza changing their pizza box so that it's covered in the art from TDKR teaser poster. Makes it look mysterious.

Not as funny as Kenny Rogers Roasters marketing Casino Royale. At one point in the commercial, they cut away from a scene focusing on Eva Green's curves lying on the bed to a shot of a whole chicken getting roasted. Was it a statement on how women are portrayed in movies? Who knows?

In a related news, a Malaysian airline company sponsored the Oakland Raiders despite not flying to anywhere in the States nor American Football having any sort of exposure in Malaysia. Even the CEO admits it will confuse people.

International poster for Total Recall. It's probably good they didn't repeat the Deus-Ex-ish teaser design now that Human Revolution is being made into a movie itself.

Apparently, Looper has the opposite thing happening. The opening scene of the movie was supposed to be set in Paris, but it was changed to Shanghai after Chinese financing came in. Chinese audiences will get a longer cut of the movie with the Shanghai prologue, but it got cut for US screenings because Rian Johnson thinks it threw off the pacing.

Cartoon Network is not a pre-school channel, though. He's referring to how Nick, Jr. now has a block of stuff called Nick Mom that airs at night. Which is completely fine, as any kids who watch Nick, Jr. will be long asleep by then, so why would they continue to air poo poo like Blues Clues during that time frame?

They don't have that in Asia yet, but Nick Jr is also not a separate channel yet. Playhouse Disney is, though, and I wonder what they are airing after bedtime.
