So, just guessing here, but I expect to see an escort carrier in Armada eventually, with it havinga special rul that increases the fighter squadron limit to 50% instead of 33%. Thoughts?

Retreat options are generally abusable and I'm honestly glad to not need to add that to the mix. Also, all Rebel ships have hyperdrives, and most of the Imperial ones do too. Maybe if there's a deci on the table assume it was modified to have exterior tie racks like a carrack?

It got a *few* new designs that work out okay, but many do also suffer from the graphics of the time (As do anything out of the various X-Wing and TIE fighter games). I still play Rebellion. The unique designs for the game IIRC were the assualt transport and galleon for the imps, The bulwark (SSD equivalent), cc770(Interdictor), CC9600, Dauntless and aforementioned liberator for the rebels. The Imp ships do fit the design ascetic pretty well already. However, only the Dauntless really looks rebel, and it looks like an upgunned moncal to me. (The cc7700 looks like a blocky piece of poo poo without even having noticable gravity well projectors. Would be a good imperial transport)

There is also Correllian Gunships, Liberators and Dauntless for the Rebels and Imp escort carriers, strike cruisers and galleons/star galleons (Although I guess the gozantis are them) for Emps

I also feel the Victory to Republic might have been because the Venator sold out so fast, and they aren't printing anymore, so new Republic players needed an alternative, and they decided to snowball from there. Like the emp doesn't really need another SD in their niche, but the republics do. Speaking of, anyone know where a Venator is in stock? I want one and don't have one.
