Ah, so Ben Franklin was the 18th century equivalent of Hubert Farnsworth. Brilliant.

Jenny, what a badass!

Benjamin... Franklinstein? No wonder him and Red Edison were pals.

Irving!

That credit sequence was spoiled as a preview clip a few months ago but it's still great a second time around. Especially now that we know what they're using the head for.

Also why did you not READ the contract before signing it? IRVING!

I loved the MOLOCH WILL RISE flash at the end, as well as the scrolling list of legal "problems." Brilliance.

Definitely the weakest ep of the season so far. A young Clancy Brown lookalike wasted. I'd rather have him around than Hawley.

This episode was going well enough until Hawley came along. This guy can't die soon enough.

GODDAMNIT HAWLEY

Thanks to Verizon and Cox, if you've got FIOS and are in the Boston metro area, you're not watching Sleepy Hollow tonight since WFXT is blacked out due to carrier disputes. Grumble. Unless you dig out an antenna, I suppose.

So is this Hawley being written out of the show? If so, he got a decent sendoff with this.

This show has already had mirror based shenanigans, so it wouldn't be unheard of.

Does Moloch exist outside time? Wouldn't he be back in colonial times?

Oh, a lesson in not changing history from miss I'm my own grandma. Let's just DECPAITATE Franklin and get out of here!

Dragging this up from the grave because the S3 premiere is on Thursday at 9 PM eastern. Time for a new thread?

I think they gave it away for free last year; it's a pretty decent reading. Mison's dulcet tones could make a phone book interesting.

Sleepy Hollow / Bones, the crossover nobody asked for.

howe_sam posted:My only real complaint with the crossover was that they made Corbin and Booth buddies. Yeah, the Bones half was a snoozefest, but SH was at least serviceable. Does everyone really have to know everybody in these shows?

The show is so far away from the craziness of season 1 that got me into it that I'm willing to let it go. As long as the finale is sensible, I'm OK with it ending.

Gone out with a whimper, not a bang. RIP show, we'll always have season 1.

At the cost of him looking silly and not doing much and the show spiralling into a nonsensical finale, sure.

Cancelling both The Grinder and Grandfathered yet renewing this shambling corpse? I have no idea what Fox is up to. Either way, I'm out, I'm not watching S4.

spookygonk posted:I was going to write, "How, he's dead", but gently caress this show and continuity. People being dead hasn't stopped them from coming back, it's the entire conceit of the show. On the other hand, this show is dead to me, we'll always have season 1's wild ride.

I finally sat down and watched it since I never bothered to remove the show from my DVR. Mison still has charm and pulls the character off well, but it's not even the same show anymore. It wasn't BAD, but it wasn't great either. I just wish the show died and isn't shambling on like, uh, some kind of headless corpse.

I did appreciate Crane's soliloquy on the hoop and stick, it reminded me why I liked this show in the first place. Too bad the rest is just mediocre.
