If you guys who are fans of garbage teams want to make an offseason thread, feel free. I just don't want to split up posting about the playoffs in two separate threads.

Revs vs Dallas at Gillette Stadium

In this way only, I don't have to buy a plane ticket to the final if the Revs get into it, and Don Garber will want to die.

Crazy match earlier today. It'll be interesting to see what the Disciplinary Committee does to Wahl for the scissor-kick on Rowe or Francis for the flying elbow on Jones, if anything at all.

Gettin on this train right now.

The best thing that I will take solace in this game is Higuain consistently making GBS threads all over Shuttleworth through this season. His last PK was a p big "ess my dilz."

This game's going to be scrappy on a field that favors fast play. Parking the bus is the easiest option for NE, and I expect Parkhurst and one of Wahl/Gehrig/Pogatetz to be the only true defenders on the field for Columbus. A full field press that gives way to easy counters.

Parking the bus would be a huge mistake for New England, the defense is not good enough to handle Higuain and co for 90 minutes.

I think every Revs fan is thinking that the penalty will come back to bite us. At least it's worth going to the match :v:

New England will score three away and then Henry will be forced to play on the lovely turf at Gillette and he'll quit in a rage.

Yeah, Henry was a goddamn joy to watch, the turf didn't appear to affect his game at all. I got really nervous late on, when he was obliged to push up the field-- I'd rather him dish up deadly crosses and forward passes to a pack of shitheads than make those runs himself.

All of his set pieces made me nervous, even the corners. I'm glad I got to see him play at least once more.
