you want immortal hounds for some real stomach-turning stuff, there's a character whose whole jam is torturing immortals in cruel and gratuitous ways( super / )

yeah the reason I like deku so much is because even in the heat of the moment, he's got stuff like this going through his head. Though I think he might've been apologizing because he thought he might die in the fight and never see her again

I'm so glad I decided to drop immortal hounds when I did. But yeah it came off like Deku thought he was done for,not just because he was hurt.

As someone who basically just binged this whole arc it does read better when you read it all at once but it definitely started to drag before the overhaul fight started.
