Though one 'sigh, deviantartists' part is pretty clear from the Shantae/Mighty no. 9/Shovel Knight set (The Retro Kickstarter collection?) One of em's a girl? Then they're all girls. I'm amazed the 9/Knight combo didn't end up with boobs.
