I think it was Deadpool/Hawkeye that had the really nice bit where Deadpool, unlike virtually every other superhero, is actually considerate enough to remember that Clint can't read his lips through a full-face mask, so he lifts the mask when talking to him.

My wife adored that sequence, because she reads lips, and it's amazing how often people forget that if they're not looking at her when they talk to her, she can't understand them.

One was a guy who picked up a discarded batarang during a fight, threw it and it boomeranged into his skull. Lots of the super tech has been reverse-engineered from various aliens recently. The movies are terrible, but Cyborg is mostly made from a Motherbox there, and even in regular continuity I think he has enough New Gods tech to use boom tubes.

Batman needs a source of gadgets, but he doesn't have to be part of the 1%. Roll him back to being a millionaire with a limited industrial connection rather than a billionaire and you probably get more interesting stories. Sure, he's a genius who can build a car shaped like his face, but it also lets you tell stories where something of his is broken, or something.

There was a point where JRjr started drawing all fingers in this weird, flattened way but even including that his Spider-Man is one of the GOATs. He's obviously rad at the big blocky stuff but the energy and power he could infuse into his panels was amazing for fight scenes. He's part his dad and part Kirby.


Pretty sure it is the Dodson / Kevin Smith Black Cat mini-series that took eons to finish, if it even ever did because I honestly forget.
