E: gently caress, thanks mobile app for making me respond to something a full page back Also, opening/closing doors and building/deconstructing in a pressurized environment will both empty the room of oxygen, causing you to take damage. I'd offer the server I host but I tend to enjoy playing by myself with few mods. I think there's plenty to do in survival, going on mining runs and building bigger and bigger ships, expanding your base, diversifying your fleet, etc. It's buggy as hell but still comfy, in a way. I've never felt like I was out of things do to and I must have put tens of hours into it. But then, I started playing with survival multiplayer so I'm not used to creative, I guess.

Did you engage the landing gears? Landing on the planet's surface is also notoriously buggy, best to use the steel you start with to build a landing platform with. If the engines were really off it would probably have smashed itself to bits on the earth.

Space Engineers is not a game in which wheels were ever destined to be good because it handles collisions so poorly. Small ships are made out of goddamn tissue paper when it comes to bumping into terrain. So much time wasted on construction projects that blew into pieces at the slightest nudge. Damage simply does not scale well with speed at all.

So will ship crashes actually look like the trailers now instead of ships just being obliterated into dust?
