I think it has to do with how the view scrolls to afford the keyboard and custom ones are a different height than the stock so it messes it up. I reported it to the devs last week and offered to help since I'm an iOS dev but I didn't get around to it. maybe this week... i couldn't reproduce it at all, guess i'll try again with the store version
