I'm going the opposite direction and got Olauncher. Minimal AF as they say. Icons and widgets are for babies who don't have the fine motor skills to click on things yet. It will probably annoy me to death in a day or two but not having any customisation options at all really takes the setup time out of a new launcher.

Niagra has ties with the same people who just got Nova so didn't bother with it. It is super minimal though, you can't even have widgets or icons anywhere so if you need that it might not be for you.

I've actually just swapped to KISS Launcher now as the lack of shortcuts was annoying me as I use them a bit. FOSS - something I'm trying to move to more as I de-corporatise my life - so on f-droid + play store and doesn't need an internet connection at all so no one is getting your info. Still mostly a text search rather than scrolling based UI but a nicer middle ground. It's very snazzy.

Just a heads up for anyone who is thinking of using play store credit from rewards for Google One. They don't take partial payment so if you are $1 short of your yearly membership then they'll charge the whole lot to your account. So basically either pay monthly and have them hit your card when you don't have enough rewards or top up with a gift card or something before they try to charge you.

I've been doing mississippi seconds in my head like an animal. TABATA is the search term for what you want and there are a billion of them. I use one called 'tabata timer: interval timer' and it works perfectly for what I want with custom intervals so never really looked around.

It doesn't do logged in stuff though so you'll need to redo subscriptions and things.

KISS Launcher supremacy. Gestures for the stuff you want easy access too. Favourites for a few more so you got your little row at the bottom and fuzzy search for everything else. Maybe a clock widget if you're feeling wild but you're not getting app shortcuts all over your wallpaper.

There is no situation in which I want to turn down just media / ringtone/ message tones contextually and it's just a pointless pain-in-the-rear end feature (for me.) Don't wanna be somewhere quiet, think I've turned the volume down, then receive an email and have that notification still blaring out. Smart watches have killed the need for noise in notifications. Take advantage of that if you can.

One where you don't even need an account let alone a subscription to use. And ideally on more than one platform? I'm a huge fan of password store. Not sure what the windows / iOS usage is like but Linux, OSX and Android are workable. I just use command line stuff but GUI probably exist to fit it and you can easily share your passwords via a git repository. It's a bit techy though so if you want super simple setup then maybe it's not for you. Sharing secret keys between devices is the hardest part so if that doesn't put you off then you're golden.
