Eh, only one or two are really bad, I saved everyone but one person without a guide just by not loving up the QTE sections and not doing anything incredibly dumb. The one I didn't save was very counter intuitive though.

Most of them are fine, but some are kind of dumb. The worst is the black guy (matt?) who you have to stop from shooting off the flare with a completely unrelated conversation flag so they could justify the personality system

Yeah, he's the one I got killed. You can also save him by not trying to help his girlfriend if you don't have the flare gun and just jumping off straight away.

There's still no subscription option in the UK and gently caress paying as much for a week of game time as you could to buy the game outright nowadays.

Huh, games are now apparently slightly cheaper in the UK than the US or Canada, assuming you don't pay over £40, which is fairly easy.
New digital is still like US$90 though.

So, is there any work around for PSN just suddenly deciding it doesn't like your card? I don't mind using PayPal, it all comes from the same account anyway, it's just annoying because it should loving work.

Paypal will also not work if it's throwing you bogus "there's been an error with your payment" errors. The last two times it happened to me, the only working solution was to buy a PSN code off Amazon to add to the wallet.

Nah, PayPal works fine, maybe it's because I have my bank account connected directly to that rather than just through the card.

I think all the PS2 games run at 1080p60fps but otherwise they're exactly the same.

DQ8 is coming out on 3DS later this year so they might decide to compliment that with the PS2 version on PS4. Or they might decide they don't want it to eat in to the sales of what would be a full price release.

It's okay, there's a few concessions like areas being more broken up and no huge stages because it's a PSP game but the biggest problem was no right stick and that's fixable on the Vita at least. It's still more of the same though and has the same lack of inspiration as every KD game after 2.

It could've been that my friend was bad at the game, or just playing it poorly, because he would basically just merge with his elemental whatever in every fight and spend the whole time mashing the same button over and over again, and he won everything but boss fights doing exactly this. e: I don't mind assigning points or sifting through menus if the combat is ultimately fun. Zesty combat looked decidedly unfun.

He would die pretty quick as soon as he ran into a pack of casters like that, unless he was playing on easy.
