This got mentioned last page, but the Audio Entropy network has exactly this, it's called Teenagers With Attitude. They people on that one also do a podcast for the saban dub of digimon called Digital Moncast. That podcast that got mentioned in the last Money Zone, DCOMedy, is also on that network.

Holy poo poo is this a new series.

The CGI "animated" episodes that were just Simone and Pat acting things out were my favorites. I want to see more.

Blade and Soul? Champions Online???

Champions Online was great because the character creator is crazy as poo poo, the whole "Let's bring the fans into this" thing where they all went into a more difficult area and survived out of sheer force of numbers, and the creators being pretty chill with them.

I hope the game got a few regulars out of that. I made an account, but haven't played much because my hard drive is too small and I can only have so much real estate on there.

My least favorite Monster Factories are Conan and Saint's Row 3. Conan just has one joke and that's it. Saint's Row is annoying for me to watch because Griffin keeps dragging on a game series I like for poor writing (and I'll admit that 3 and 4 are weaker than 2 in terms of writing) that gets really tiring really fast. Granted, when he says "family guy south park humor" he might just mean "lul random and edgy" while when I hear the term I think "transphobic jokes and trying to be faux-intellectual while making fart jokes".

Well I got into the McElroys when I moved out of my mom's house in 2014 and got my first smartphone. I had already been a fan of Welcome to Night Vale (it was super big on tumblr at the time) and I wanted to get into more podcasts. I think I first heard of MBMBAM either through someone on here or Pop Culture Happy Hour. (I was new to podcasts and didn't know any so I just subscribed to some of the top ones on itunes)

As someone who has not watched the Nuzlocke run I think it's just kid of funny after Griffin talking about his elaborate unwinnable Pokemon gym to find out that he actually isn't that great at Pokemon, or at least is unfamiliar with the newer gen mechanics.

It kind of reminded me of the first Night Vale live show I attended. The fandom was at it's height so a lot of people were more hype than usual. Later shows I attended after the fandom died down were much more restrained. Such is the case with TAZ.

Unless you mean, like, just in the last couple weeks since the Balance arc ended, but even if that's what you meant I'd disagree since the fandom still seems to be growing now

No, what I mean is I think in a year or two the live shows aren't going to be quite as hype as they were in Austin. The Balance arc just ended, and fans are likely to focus their interest on whatever new characters spring forth in whatever arc becomes the next big one.

From what I know of the TAZ fandom, porn isn't that big, and what little is there is primarily focused on Taako. I wouldn't really worry about it.

Overall it's okay, but very much wrought with a problem common in media dealing with the founding fathers: sanitizing and glorifying them for the sake of a jingoistic narrative. I think this just the first thing in a while that managed to catch the eye of people who are aware of the fact that this is a problem.

I haven’t seen much of Sonic Forces, is it good candidate for MF? Sonic characters have mostly uniform proportions, and I find it hard to imagine that they let you have much freedom.

Having played it, the customization is akin to the Xenoverse games. IE, loving with the character proportions is limited outside of a couple joke options, but the variety of clothing is so wide and wild, you can get a shitload done with the wardrobe and make some beautiful fashion disasters.

Clothing options include:
-Weird alternate eyes like heterochromia and star eyes
-Three different snapbacks with "GAMER" written on them
-Four different sets of Kamina shades
-Flesh hands (part of an AiAi costume)
-All sorts of weird bodysuits including ones with scales, alternate fur patterns, and turning yourself into pure gold
-Robot hands and legs
-A spring head
-Several different sets of crocs
-A Shadow costume that gives you a weird Shadow hat that covers everything but your face like some sort of shadow skin-suit

Honestly I'm more worried about the stuff outside the creator. The actual gameplay is fairly standard boost-sonic platforming, and doesn't really have a whole lot of potential outside of watching the cutscenes and deliberately loving up the platforming.

I've been thinking about this for the last few days, so I wanted to bring it up here:

For all it's ups and downs, twentyserpentine feels like the most successful "year theme" in a while. The brothers have improved their lives and Will Be In Trolls 2, the TV show got released, TAZ: Balance ended. Projects of all sorts began and ended and continued. And that's not even beginning to get into the larger scale of things. What have you done to Zag On Em this year?

I improved my life and broke bad habits by finding employment, a learner's permit, and taking better care of myself and my home. Somehow got ahold of an SNES classic despite the odds.

What are some other good D&D or RPG podcasts? I'll keep listeningi to TAZ, but I could use something to scratch that itch.

I enjoyed early-on episodes of Nerd Poker with Brian Posehn, but after they lost their original DM, they gave the job to Blaine Capatch, who was notoriously the most apt to derail things, slow down the story, or simply stop playing the game to make jokes about TV production. Funny dude, but not fun to listen to DM a game where he seemed to have absolutely no loving idea where the story was going and kept pitting them against incredibly difficult fights and endless NPCs who were all immediately hostile. Also, upon that reboot, they basically pushed out one of their best role players by all just being stupidly violent morons, until she couldn't think of any logical reason why her characters wouldn't have just fled some night after they made camp.

I did like, though, that people just loving died in that game, and then the IRL person would come back and play a new interloper, so it allowed someone to be reckless and just fuckin' die or to play two very different characters back to back.

Things I listen to on a regular basis are Six Feats Under (they do a bunch of indie RPGs and are currently doing campaigns of Fellowship and Mouse Guard) and the shadowcaster's network of shadowrun podcasts (although that's a mix of informative podcasts, actual play, and various lore/drama podcasts).

My personal headcanon for "average taako" is that he just looks like Justin. I've also seen one where he's the generic handsome of a bachlorette contestant, without any real charm or defining features.
