Sorry, been a little busy. and my phone takes poo poo pictures probably, so hopefully these aren't too bad.

These are graphic props from the recent Christmas episode, secret santa'd to me by echoplex because he is awesome.

A spare label like one used on the doctors bottle of brandy

A menu from the starliner restaurant, one of many that were used in the actual episode.

Even worse quality on my part, a photo of a print out of a screencap of when said props were used in the episode.

I'm actually kinda torn on if I should purchase an appropriately shaped brandy bottle to apply the sticker label to.

The worst part of the lake two parter is they have a monster voiced by serafinowicz and screamed by Corey from slipknot. And both of those voices are criminally underused.

Yeah, completely wasted use of both of them, sadly.

Seriously part one was amazing. Almost like an old school Who episode. And then part two. The promise of that voice.

One of my biggest dr who disappointments.

It honestly would still be pretty decent if they had just cut before he gets cartoonishly blasted off into the sunset. A lot of series 9's issues could be fixed with tighter editing.

I guess it depends on how much of his tissue he used up remaking the daleks prior to his first revival appearance. I mean, he showed the doctor his chest was a mess, but there's no reason he couldn't have started with all the stuff below the waist that didn't work.

The real question is when did he become such a roboplegic wrongcock?

Yeah exactly, it's fine. I mean it's an episode of Dr Who so it can't be bad now, can it?

Yeah I really enjoyed the story and though there is a little bit of,"Now they're doing this, and now they're doing that!" panicky exposition, I enjoyed the ! they used to indicate Angel movement.

Also the Doctor's "timey-wimey" callback(forward?) was loving hilarious.

The first two stories were great. The second two, I'm gonna have to relisten because I fell asleep due to some of my anti-d's and the dreams I had of those episodes bear no relation to anything big finish or even tv dr who has ever done.

I just want to say, Moffat may have been behind a bunch of bad decision concerning Dr Who, but he's written some amazing episodes.

More importantly he made Night of the Doctor happen. He could make episodes that are actually as bad as you all think Forest of the Night is, there's no way I can hate him.

The new Big Finish, Maker of Demons, is pretty cool. The traditional 'doctor and companions get split up and end up with different parts of the party with different sides of the situation going on' set up.

I have been enjoying the titan comics. the Eight miniseries is particularly nice, but they are all a lot of fun.
