This phrasing is terrible: "(candidate's statewide vote) × 30 ÷ (total statewide vote) delegates"

It should absolutely be: "(candidate's statewide vote) ÷ (total statewide vote) delegates × 30"

Of even better: "fraction of total statewide vote × 30" :colbert:

Why don't the precinct votes directly determine state delegates? Elections for governor, senator, and president are all based on raw state totals.
