April Fool's Day is literally, no exaggeration, a real-life version of The Purge and I fear the day that some prankster hopped up on Nuke busts into my home, murders my anime bodypillow and steals my PC

Some complete loving moron thought it would be a good idea for an April Fools Day prank to put almond extract in some steam lines in a chemical factory

(said factory works with cyanide regularly)

Wasn't MGS1 like the only game that used the buttons in an analogue fashion, like for melee or something, or am I thinking of something else

I was originally playing a sorcerer but my melee game was so weak that I got stomped, then I went for a cleric and got tired of the Greatsword, and now I'm not even sure what I want. A smarter approach to sorcerer, I suppose. What would people recommend for a dex sorcerer in terms of early-game weapons?

This was always my problem with playing the DS games and Bloodborne, in that I could never decide what sort of character to play as/weapons to use, and eventually the answer would become "none of them; play something else"

:(

I loved DeS to death, loved (sans adverb phrase) DS1, was meh to DS2, and barely played Bloodborne at all

I just grew out of liking that gameplay style over time I guess

Uncertain if you're being ironic here but in case you're not, so am I

With a very small number of exceptions (monster hunter and ffxiv basically) shorter games seem to do it for me nowadays. Downwell and Gremlins, Inc have been my jam for a while

Well this year already has Overwatch, Dick Squirrels 3, and Tomb Raider (technically released in 2015 for XBox but that doesn't count). And they're all lookin' pretty good. Probably some other ones I'm forgetting.

Last year had a bunch of games too but the only one I really really liked was Life is Strange.

Go to the thread. And I"m not being snarky, everyone has their own ideas of what they dont' like

Bosses are too easy. Sword and board is too easy. Enemies are too hard. PVP sucks. Too many estus flasks.

Magic is not good til mid game. Game is too linear.

That's off the top of my head in what they brought up about in the souls thread.

I did, there were no responses and it moves too fast to find anything

So thanks for the clarifications :)

I think anyone who hasn't played it should play this, it does great things and can maybe convince the non-jrpg folks to consider turn-based strategy. Plus, there's no random fights and you can lean on the assist member hard if need be, but the game has great music, good turn-based play, and the quintessential "four crystals" plot.
