He famously argued that behind every rise of fascism is a failed revolution. He was 100% right about it and that is exactly why I knew that if the Democrats rejected the closest thing possible to a working-class revolution that anyone has seen or will see in our life times that what we would get is the rise of fascism to take its place . This is not some incidental phenomena this is a purposeful strategy of the Nazis and it is written about at length in Mein Kampf. Hitler describes how part of his strategy was to use propaganda not to preach to those who were already converted but to flip potential opponents into supporting him that was the purpose first and foremost of successful propaganda. Because his enemies as he saw them were Marxist and socialists he purposely decided to name his party the Socialist party and to use the red colors that were so popular and common amongst the working class revolutions around the region. The idea was to get frustrated and ill-informed members of the working class who were angry about the failures of liberal democracy and to lure them into meetings using similar rhetoric as his enemies which were the Marxists. Once they were in the meetings he would spoonfeed them a bunch of feel good nonsense about how they were great their country was great they were going to make their country great once again like it once was and the people to blame were outside or groups enemies within the subverted the national identity it was easy to spot and identify scapegoat to blame for more easy than convincing a working-class person To engage in radical critical Marxist analysis. This is why it was successful them and that is why it is becoming successful today so the only solution than I am now is for the left-wing to not seed any ground to the liberals who want to keep things the same for the ruling class it is only through a radical revolutionary socialist movement for the working class that we can Finally realize economic justice and put an end to the bubbling antagonisms which give rise to fascism

Sometimes I worry that there's gonna be a straight up Holocaust 2: Electric Boogaloo, or a WW3 or something really bad before any progress is made. I also can't help but worry humanity will be stuck in these loops until we destroy ourselves and never achieve a utopia without massive wealth imbalances. Like the best we can hope for is we become a post scarcity society and those with wealth and power become less selfish due to gaining nothing from remaining selfish.

It's really helped me connect with like minded people and opponents alike, to engage in concise debate, and share tons of info. It's great for organizing things too. I was late to get on the twitter bandwagon, mostly bc I thought it was dumb and didn't think mynstupid thoughts were important enough for anyone to be interested in. However, I have a clear and focused purpose & it allows me to share my thoughts and is a good exercise in brevity when dealing with topics that have a tendency to be almost prohibitively long-winded.

It's also an effective way to have a real time influence on mass media, using established media platforms to get critical information to the masses. Sending tweets to radio personalities or tv, getting a word in or some air time can be a good opportunity if you know what you're doing. That's how to reach millions of people
