MrAptronym posted:No one has yet adequately explained to me how Yoko Taro keeps being allowed to make games, but I am sure glad he is. The president of Square Enix is a real big fan of Taro, and Platinum games got to choose which IP they get to work on when they were hired for Next Square Enix game.

MythosDragon posted:So despite knowing a dozen people that constantly talk about the nanomachines, memes, and vagina bombs, theyve somehow never mentioned the the giant hulking gundams. I need new friends, I'm almost tempted to try the games now. They're usually treated as the final bosses, you don't fight them regularly except in Metal Gear Revengence. Coincidentally, the same team and producer did Automata

idiotmeat posted:Maybe if they stop making nintendo exclusive games they would be doing better. I still want to try me some wonderful 101. That's not how that works. They're given a contract to make a game on nintendo's console, or they do no work. Bayonetta 2 literally doesn't exist without Nintendo's funding.

Hemingway To Go! posted:Why are pachinko parlors so bad that casinos are better, seems like any problem you have with the parlors will be worse with this. Casino's are government regulated, I don't think pachinko's are. Also as far as I understand, pachinko's are a small part of Konami's profit portfolio. They make way more off their health department.
