Also when I was young and healthy my insurance dropped me because I got injured, "preexisting medical condition" it was, because I had to get an unplanned surgery. $18k bill. Thankfully after fighting tooth and nail I qualified for some poor person county aid that covered it 100%. It all still cost me a lot with copays etc. Thus, I will never complain about Tricare/VA poo poo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
