Youth voters from today will have been somewhere between 4 and 10 at the time, and probably not paying that much attention to politics. In the run-up to 2010 when I was trying to get old schoolmates to vote they were peddling the old 'they're all the same' line which continued into 2015. There's a chance for 2017 to break from that... hopefully in a good way.
