Honestly, the only thing I've ever felt that IWTV was sincerely lacking was a decent women's promotion. They have WWR but they haven't uploaded a show since July, and I think they've just started getting shows from WSU. Sendai fill a Joshi gap in their lineup.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Japanese men's promotion on there either.

ok they're not wonderful but I think about GI Ho and Pussy Willow a lot. I know Pussy went on to be a burlesque performer in nashville. And I think there were two women under the GI Ho name to make things even harder.

I hope this is an experiment that gets more english commentary on Wrestle Universe at least for their big shows. After a couple of weeks watching the only thing holding me back from out of control love of Noah, DDT, and TJPW is still feeling like a newbie who doesn't know who everyone is, so having accessible English language commentary will hopefully anchor for me who everyone is. Until then, unfamiliarity with alphabet and language means that I'm popping hard for Lego Boy in DDT but I've only the most general idea of what he's actually called.

if you're UK based the shows will either be in the middle of the night or they'll be early morning. So their last big show (Positive Chain) was at 11:30AM Japan Standard Time, which is 2:30AM GMT. Wrestle Princess (basically their Wrestlemania) was 3PM, which is 6AM GMT. For their touring shows they tend to double book with DDT, so you'll get the TJPW show at 12PM followed by the DDT show at 5:30PM

My usual tactic is not to watch live but to watch the next morning.

It is, which is sucky. Thankfully Wrestle Universe are pretty good at getting their livestreams turned into VOD fairly fast. There's more of a delay when the shows aren't airing live though.

There was English commentary for their January 4th show (I think Chris Brookes guested as well) but the majority of their shows go with Japanese commentary or no commentary. Which is actually fine as their storytelling is very very visual and the frequent comedy moments are usually physical in a way that translates.

On a quality show by quality show basis Wrestle Universe is probably matched in bang for my buck only by AEW Plus on Fite. I will say that the TJPW house style, while it matches my tastes, doesn't match everyone's.
