hi I haven't really played this in like 4 years, I only tried it a bit at launch. I installed it recently and it's actually a lot of fun? Anyway, I started again because there was talk of a level sync feature some time ago, is there an ETA for that?

I got a level 55 chain shirt with armor + energy shield thing. It has 4+2 blue slots. What are the chances of rolling 6 links on these things with an orb of fusing? Should I just keep grinding hoping I get a 6L and forget about it?

Speaking of skills and movement, how come there's not a decent diablo clone yet where you can move with buttons/keys and aim with mouse? I'd be really nice to have that simple feature, IMO. Able to move into one direction and cast in the other without swinging the mouse over the drat screen every time. At least arc just autotargets the closest enemy

Instant casts for certain skills is a great idea.remember posted:I followed a build guide and it probably took me 20ish hours to run through the campaign, and I found the later acts to be really tough to get through. If someone went in blind I can see that totally being his experience. I looked around the internet for some ideas, and also brought some ideas from other online games I've played a lot (constitution/vitality is not a dump stat lol) and am currently level 83 I think, and still having fun. I did stumble into the most broken skill in the game right now apparently though, arc is just amazing I think it's just the sort of game that you either love or hate, depending on how much you like to try out different and stupid things. I absolutely thrived playing stupid builds nobody else considered in ragnarok online and diablo 2, so this is extremely my cup of tea. I think my next build is going to be a melee occultist.

I've decided to be my usual dumb self and do the melee witch. I think I'm set on molten strike occultist, but since I'm new and this game is complicated here's a couple questions: Dual wielding apparently increases the speed at which I can spam attack skills. I think I want to use a shield since there's a lot of energy shield to be had on there, but since claws have life drain on them using two of those might be better? I only managed to get to level 36 with my test char and she never died as long as I kept swinging with two claws, but level 36 is still noob zones so  Chaos Inoculation is probably a bitch to build right? Especially at league start?

Alva incursions were awesome, but the temple could take a lot of time to clear during early levels, and not clearing it meant I couldn't run incursions. I've just opened the portals and then ignored them a couple times when I got bad rooms, but it still felt like a waste, here I just pop in and do a couple trips with the cart, and then pop out again.

Being able to move with keys, even if just in 8 directions, would be goddamn amazing for so many builds, compared to swinging the mouse around the screen constantly, but the fanbase will eat you alive if you suggest it because "HAVE YOU PLAYED ARGPS BEFORE DIABLO@ IS THE BEST", and GGG seems to be at the core of that mentality

I bought all the currency/fragment/etc tabs and didn't get the map tab thinking "eh that's endgame poo poo that doesn't apply to me much" and now i'm at endgame 4 days after league started

I keep clicking on the crawler trying to pick up poo poo or attack enemies on top of it, I wish there was an option that required holding alt to actually highlight it... I have, in one occasion, clicked on a node and lost a bunch of lovely loot. Where's the suggestions forum at

I just use the shift+click to attack. Also, only 5 projectiles rn, still need a few more levels to reach the last jewel slot. I'm only starting out mapping.

Is there any recommendations on what maps to choose to shape? I went with beach for t1, but thinking back I probably should've gone graveyard, that map seems to have way more enemies to kill?

low level delves can be cleared super fast and as long as you know where to look (everywhere there's darkness) poo poo seems to pop up pretty regularly. I'd still just level my darkness resist as far as possible and do it in high level ones though, might as well get other useful drops while doing it, most things are still just chests.

And the higher level monsters hitting you obviously puts pressure on your regen that you're using to overcome the darkness. OTOH a flare costs 5 azurite. I'm a CI energy shield leech build when my shield goes low I just hit flare and it goes back to full e: I'm also occultist tho, so that helps a lot in combination with vaal discipline.
