JBP posted:Real talk: do people in here try to reconcile their enjoyment of art with the artist being a fuckhead or what? I find it tough since I'm a big Spacey fan and I'd like to watch his films and appreciate the art of it, but I'm not sure that's possible. It's a real problem. Being a wrestling nerd back in the day it was real hosed up when Chris Benoit killed his family and then himself. Being older and having young kids I don't have time to watch wrasslin' but if I did watching his old matches would be reeeeeeeeeeal uncomfortable.

I think it's a case of our media (or whoever) looking at what happened in the US and expecting the exact same thing to happen here. Except due to the way Amazon changed things in the US ordering from online stores in Australia has been a thing for a while now. Amazon aren't going to be a paradigm shift when we've already shifted. Also stop reading so many news corp papers because only the Australian and Gerry Harvey were that much in arms about it because they actually hate competition

It's a pointless bit of propaganda because unless you work for a bank they're just those fuckers that: - take out hundreds/thousands a month for mortgage - want you to pay back that credit card debt - are never open - charge fees despite being never open - won't give you that loan for a sweet new car/laptop/boat

A lot of our friends when we lived in Canberra did a big commute (this was 2010) so they could have a decent sized property. Canberra kind of gets picked up in the Sydney bubble a bit so rents and house prices were pretty high.
