So I just started this up again after quitting for about a year. Is it worth tracking down a Pokemon Go Plus or should I wait for the new Pokeball thing in November? I don't have a Switch and don't plan to buy one for at least a year or two. I mostly just want my iPhone to farm pokeballs for me at work.

I'm sold. $74.30 CAD/$56.98 USD on Amazon.ca looks to be about ten bucks higher than stateside. I'll dig around and see if I can find a deal. Edit: $50 CAD with $15 shipping on eBay is a little better.

ooh I have a Gastly, Exeggcute, Jolteon, Eevee, Dratini, Dragonair, Chansey, Machoke, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and a bunch of junk from 2016 still. Just wish I'd found out about this a few weeks ago when I restarted. I shudder to think of how many 2016 Pokemon I mulched to make room for all my new catches.

That was awesome. Just showed up downtown, got adopted by a big group and wandered around doing eight raids. Caught six of eight, no shiny, still super fun. Couldn’t have picked a better day to hit the 10 raids step of my Mew quest. Was planning on cheesing it with cancels and reentries but instead I’m sitting on 8/10 legit!

My Go-tcha arrived yesterday and this morning has been my first morning with it. Holy poo poo this thing is AMAZING. Worth every penny. Hell its worth it just to be able to keep the game running with the screen completely off instead of upside down in my pocket in “battery saver mode”.

My Go-tcha is behaving kind of strangely lately. When I disable “Pokémon notifications” it spins stops instantly. But when I enable it, it takes a good 30+ seconds to spin a stop even when there are no Pokémon around. Any ideas what I’ve got messed up? Settings in the config app are correct and I’ve tried ejecting/un-pairing and re-pairing it.

I do take my lunch break from 1-2, but it’s a 15-20 minute drive each way depending on traffic and I do need to eat. I *might* be able to make it work if I switch my coffee breaks around. But I should probably just let it go.
