The FX industry being massively overtaxed in the years since Fury Road was made probably didn't help the cg look the very best it could Comparing teaser trailers of both Furiosa and Fury Road, it feels like there were way more action shots that were trailer ready in the Fury Road trailer. Watching the first one I was like it's a set romance film with an action thriller subplot but they didn't seem like two elements that were blended together.

I think a lot of the negative response to Jojo Rabbit is long memories of Life is Beautiful. A film made by non-jews for non-jews about jews. Acclaimed by non-jews but regarded with very mixed feelings among jewish communities.
