After you get your freighter you need to talk to the navigator who should give you a quest to build the command center. Apparently you also need to go inspect the frigate to start a secondary quest to inspect it and learn the recipe for fuel. hahaha gently caress. am i boned if i didn't get the free one? jesus

new bug, unless it's just a dumb thing and someone can help me fix it: i bought a new freighter, but it replaced the ship i traveled in on with the broken ship i left on a planet's surface. it won't let me summon my nice, working ship onto the freighter and i don't have the raw materials to repair the broken ship am i hosed. do i just live on this freighter now

god i forgot how to loving make money in this game and am perpetually poor despite being like 7-8 hours into a brand new playthrough any tips that arent just "raise your rep with races so that you can take on missions and get space money"? is it really just "fly through space a lot and hope you get to a system with s class scanner upgrades and maybe some high quality scavenger poo poo underground"?
