Kangaskhan is how I finished 3 excellent throws in a row the one time I got it, not as easy was Wailmer but a lot more common here. I thought I was going to be able to do it throwing regular pokeballs at Shedinja, but no, he was caught first ball. Does anyone know when they plan to switch over Volbeat and Illumise? I threw out Zapdos-Lapras-Entei in a great league battle against blue AI lady and didn't get to the last two because she went Magikarp-Feebas-Squirtle  400 dust was my reward for winning an Ultra League battle against yellow AI man first.

Just participated in my first 5 star raid, fluke of timing that a call for people came up on facebook as I was getting ready to walk my dog to the gym anyway. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to catch Lugia. Was interesting to see how quickly it went down under 17 people though.

I got my first ever invitation to an EX raid from my first ever 5 star raid the other day. Missed out on catching Lugia, so I hope the Deoxys raid on the 29th doesn't get cancelled.

I picked up all 6 of the birds and beasts as weekly research rewards, have 4 or 5 of each now, so adding Lugia and Ho'oh is great because I don't have either. Looking forward to getting 9 straight Articunos.

I've gotten a Sinnoh stone from my last two 7 day spin rewards, but I've also only gotten Articuno and Suicune instead of Ho'oh or Lugia for my 7 day research rewards, and not even shiny ones

I haven't gotten a single shiny outside of a community day or event, and not one shiny legendary. I've still never seen or caught a shiny Magikarp despite catching enough for about 1600 candy, but everyone else seems to have a red Gyarados. I also caught hundreds, not a single shiny, same experience as the Charmander and Squirtle community days. Only positive from the day was a Shinx raid popping up, so knocked that off my dex, and finally finished Celebi.

It hasn't gone below 90 of your weird degrees here in weeks but there have been Snovers a plenty. There was a day two weeks ago where the temperature was 105 and the UV index was at "seek a fallout shelter" and I caught a Snover near the beach.

I raided a Kyogre today, got 7 balls, the first one spazzed off sideways because my phone decided I was hitting the menu buttons, the second one missed because I didn't realise how far away from the screen it was, and then the rest all failed. Hopefully I get another chance.

The temperature is only going to be warm rather than hot when the event is on here, at *checks calculator* 92 fahrenheiters, so I think I'll head out and wander around a bit, see if anything happens. Hat and sunscreen of course, because the UV rating is again at "You didn't want kids anyway"

I didn't know this was going to be only one task per pokestop, what a wet fart of an event, all I got to spin were 4, for 3 regulars and a walk for candy task that is TBC If I'd known it was going to be like that I'd have gone into the CBD instead, where they have a pokestop every 30 metres

Another 7 day legendary reward, another normal Suicune. Only got one chance left to get Ho-Oh before the end of the month. I wouldn't mind if these repeat legendaries were shiny, since I don't have a single shiny legendary, but no. Managed to get two Groudons with my new raid group this fortnight at least, so that's nice. Just need to get Kyogre before it rotates out again.
