The schedule needs more ovals. Street and road courses are the same thing. KingShibby posted:Fixed, thanks That was old info from a few years ago that I compiled. It's probably more like: NBC: Booth- Leigh Diffey, Paul Tracy, Townsend Bell Pits- Jon Beekhuis, Kevin Lee, Robin Miller, Marty Snider/Katie Hargitt ...now. Admittedly, I don't remember who did what. Diffey is doing both IMSA and IndyCar, though, so there might still be other PBP voices if there are any conflicts.

Word is we're getting another racing 30 for 30 and, this time, it's about a female racecar driver. Surprisingly, it's not her, but somebody else who might actually be interesting: quote:But during the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday night, ESPN teased several new installments in the series. Some of the featured athletes include Michael Vick, Lance Armstrong, Dennis Rodman, Florence Griffith Joyner, Janet Guthrie, and the Chuck Liddell-Tito Ortiz rivalry. https://awfulannouncing.com/espn/espn-teases-new-30-for-30-films-on-lance-armstrong-dennis-rodman-michael-vick-among-others.html e- Posted here because I actually associate her more with the Indy 500 than NASCAR. The schedule goes: -St Pete- Good -COTA- TBD -Barber- Bad -Long Beach- Owns -Indy Road Course- Meh, but it's Indy/The Month of May -Indy 500- Owns -Detroit 1- Good -Detroit 2- Didn't we just do this yesterday? -Texas- Better when it was admittedly terrifying, but still OK. -Road America- Meh -Toronto- Meh, but it's been a staple. -Iowa- Owns -Mid-Ohio- Good -Pocono- Good -Gateway- Good -Portland- Good -Laguna Seca- Good Just replace a couple road/street courses with ovals and the schedule's more balanced. In a perfect world, I'd swap Barber (for which I have an inexplicable dislike), COTA/Road America, and one of the Detroit races (though I get why they have two there and Belle Isle itself isn't bad) and throw in Michigan (there's your second "Detroit" race)/Richmond/Milwaukee. The documentary talks about how she had an offer from Pat Patrick for 1977 and turned it down out of loyalty to Rolla (spoilered for those who haven't seen it yet and don't know like I didn't), which is fascinating because that could've put her in a position to have a better run but shows the character she had. There was a year (1997) where only 3 races had roof cams before teams complained about an aero advantage to the cars with them, so they took them away.
