It also complicates things when you do a whoopsie with your debit card and it wasn't actually lost you just didn't look at what you were paying for. Credit cards can get that sorted out without the money leaving your account (cos they can charge the vendor two processing fees!) while with debit it's gone and you have to go begging to the bank.

Because rear end in a top hat studios are making hundreds of millions of dollars off of their work and Hollywood is an industry where nobody gets paid if they're not an rear end in a top hat about it. The Hollywood Economist is a really good book about it.

The best one of those that I read about existed in Nook reviews and was some kind of massive RPG I think. There was this big community of otherwise completely shut off teenagers (many of whom were permanently grounded for being gay or trans) who followed messages to go to review #146 of The Collected Short Stories of Edgar Allen Poe. I can't find it at the moment unfortunately.
