precision posted:how come nobody is making like a battle royale game that's like twisted metal or rocket league or w/e Hero Shooters/MOBA/ETC really gain longevity thanks to all the character variety you can find in a single title and there were already games banking on that tactic in 2010-2012 so it was bizarre seeing the last Twisted Metal go in the complete opposite direction and only have three characters. The last Twisted Metal killed the franchise for a while until they inevitably announce a new one.

I love that leveled up to max, Big Boss is the third strongest spirit in Smash Ultimate discounting the two eldritch antagonists of said game's adventure mode. It goes them, Galacta Knight, Akuma and then Big Boss the Human. There's hundreds of creatures, deities and more below him in power.

I just remember in retrospect probably extending the amount of time it would take to beat later levels in Metal Arms because I would first almost always exclusively use the "Jack-In" feature to take over enemy robots instead of using any of the other weapons you got in the game.

Unfortunately there will be very few unique enemy types in the FF7 remake. Honestly for the first episode you're basically looking at Shinra Soldiers, Hell House and a new optional superboss that's just a palette swap called Doom House.
