What was some games with world maps that are actually spheres? First thing that comes to mind is the geomap in x-com ufo defense but I can't think of any other world map that actually takes place on a sphere.

Gearing up for some spicy miso ramen later in the week, made some miso soup

This was relatively simple! The soup was 3/4 cup of water plus 1/4 cup of the fish/chicken stock I had left over from jambalaya, with some hondashi powder. Brought to a boil with a few shrimp, added chopped bok choy, then after a few minutes put it to low and added 18 grams of red miso (I followed the recommendations to press it through a strainer to catch the grit). Topped with some green onion and a piece of nori, had it with some supermarket sushi

I have a dumb question for anybody not in the USA. It's just something I hadn't thought about before and now I'm curious.

In America, we have this thing called "Mississippi seconds" which is just someone saying Mississippi between each number when they are counting. The idea is to have a word or name long/cumbersome enough to say between numbers that you can time things in a more accurate or fairer way. Examples of using it would be for kids playing hide n seek where the seeker needs to count to a number and having them count "1 Mississippi 2 Mississippi 3 Mississippi" etc would prevent them from just rushing through the numbers and give the hiders plenty of time to hide. Another example is when people need to inject something like insulin and they have to make sure to keep the needle in for a specific amount of time so they count that way to make sure they've kept the needle in long enough.

Mississippi is a place in the USA though so what do other countries use? I know that I've heard a more generic version where you count out loud by saying "1 one thousand 2 one thousand 3 one thousand" etc but I'm curious if/what other places use when needing to count like that.

Does Ys Origin and the second part of Ys 1 count as a dungeon crawl? Or a dungeon climb I guess?

Ys Origin: no, it is not a dungeon unless it is under the ground

Ys II: some underground environments, however the ground itself is floating miles in the air; dungeonality is indeterminate
